| I started using AMSOIL because of my interest in synthetic lubricants from flying radio control model aircraft. It was about that time that synthetic oils were becoming excepted as a reliable lubricant for the alcohol based fuels used in the model engines. However, I also knew that those oils were not suitable for use in engines using gasoline, which sent me on my quest to find a product that would work in my car.
