My name is Arthur Nesmith and I have been an AMSOIL Dealer since 1983. I really believe strongly in good filtration and I have always been impressed with this company's dedication to the enhanced filtration of motor oil.

Filtration alone cannot give the protection necessary for the best performance and mileage. As petroleum motor oils degrade they change viscosity as the lighter elements burn and boil off. Eventually the oil's viscosity will be way out of specs and the additives depleted. That is why filtration works so great with AMSOIL's Synthetic Motor oils. These Synthetics are made to be used as a lubricant and consist of uniform saturated molecules. This keeps the motor oil from burning off the lighter elements since there are only consistently uniform molecules. Being saturated means that the motor oil will not chemically alter itself like the unsaturated petro molecules do. Properly filtered, these oils will last and last.

Now let me ask a valid question. . . when you change motor oil, synthetic or petroleum, did the motor oil get dirty 5 minutes before you changed it? Of course not! It has been in a state of gradually increasing contamination as the motor was being run. Eventually you change it. But the dirt was there and doing its damage. My way the motor oil never gets dirty and being AMSOIL it never chemically changes keeping all of the internal parts clean, cooled, lubricated and properly sealed.

You see, I use the AMSOIL By-Pass filter and have one installed on all of my cars including my AMSOIL Gruman Step Van that I use in my business. I am not so cheap as to try and keep motor oil forever (even though that is nice). I do this to eliminate having any dirt in the engine or motor oil. In fact, I'll bet that after the first day of driving on a new oil change that oil will already be dirtier than mine. I take oil samples and have them chemically analyzed regularly to be sure everything is OK.

Now AMSOIL has come out with the Ea Air Filters, Ea Oil Filters and Ea By-Pass Oil filters. This is great! I have taken used oil samples of cars using the K&N Gauze type filters and the sample showed elevated silicon levels indicating airborn sand had gotten into the motor oil. The first lube sample I ever saw with this phenomenon was from my own vehicle that was equipped with a K&N air filter. What is happening is the dirt that passes through the filter was being pushed past the pistons by the force of combustion. This was before I began using By-Pass filtration so there was no way for the full-flow filter to filter this out. I switched to an AMSOIL air filter and the problem never showed up again. I have seen elevated silicon levels in many oil samples over the years and everytime these vehicles were equipped with gauze air filters of varying brands. Now this new Ea Filter line has me excited! Easy to clean and re-use with great filtration and airflow at a better price than those gauze filters. Attractive, too. I believe this one's a winner.

Try any AMSOIL product. Once you do, you'll buy something else. It's a difference that can be felt the first time you drive. I had a co-worker that had the same '79 Dodge D-50 (Mitsubishi) pickup that I had. They were even the same color. His wife had borrowed his one day so he asked to borrow mine to run an errand for the company. He returned and asked why my truck, with the same engine as his, was so much quieter running and more powerful. My answer, "AMSOIL." He could feel the difference even before he knew why. There was one difference actually between our trucks. Mine had over 75,000 miles on the odometer. his had barely crossed 30,000 miles.
