| A few years ago, I experienced a case crack in my airplane engine. Was happy I had AMSOIL installed. I landed with less than 1 quart of oil remaining in the engine, after flying over 30 minutes. The mechanics were amazed that the engine had not seized. All the internal parts were stilled lubricated. AMSOIL is not "certified" for aircraft use, primarily due to insurance costs ($$$). Unable to sell enough oil to pay for premiums. However, common sense was the issue for me in selecting AMSOIL for my airplane engines, and this proves AMSOIL is a superior product. Like the AMSOIL founder, I flew fighters in the Air Force also. A responsible pilot only speaks from a position of experience. AMSOIL has worked great in all my machines since 1982. That includes ultralights, RV's, cars, trucks, lawn mowers, blowers, weed eaters, compressors, and airplanes.
