Team Irnieracing
I love racing, and being competitive. From my first dirtbike, to my recent superbike, I will continue to strive for happyness with my favorite toys. I purchased an ex-factory superbike for 2007. I got my race license, and two weeks later placed 5th, in the Canadian Superbike National. In 2008 I finished 6th in the National Championship with a podium finish in Calgary. In 2009, I placed 2nd at the Calgary Superbike National racing my B bike with no first gear. I then drove across Canada to Nova Scotia where I qualifed Second, but crashed in the race, bringing out the red flag. A month later, I entered the Shannonville National, where I qualifed second on my underpowered 2008 zx6r. I lowsided on lap 9, picking up the bike to finish 17th. Not wanting to end the season on a crash, I entered the last round with the WMRRA in Washington USA. Starting from the last row, I finished 7th in 750 Sportbike, with my 2005 zx6rr. Look for Team IrnieRacing televised on TSN (Canada's Sports broadcast leader), and in the July issue of Cycle Canada.
