My name is Eric Gale, owner of GaleForce Performance. I live in Kentwood, Michigan with my wife and 2 kid's. I have been an AMSOIL Dealer since 2008.
This is my story: A couple years before I became a dealer, I purchased a used Yamaha Wave Runner. This was really my first 2-stoke motor that I have owned, other than my weed trimmer. I thought that all TCW3 2-stroke oil was the same, so I went to Meijers and bought what they had. Well, a year and a half later, while out riding my Wave Runner in late August, it stopped running right. I thought that I just fouled one of the spark plugs as it was acting like it was running on just one of the 2 cylinders. Changing the spark plug's out did not help. So I pulled it out of the water for the season and took it home to fix and store for the winter. Well come to find out after tearing the engine apart was that one of the piston rod bearings had disintegrated and let go. The rod went through the bottom of the engine block. It was all due to wear because I was using the "CHEAP" 2-stroke, TCW3 oil! I ended up selling my Wave Runner "as is" rather then rebuilding the motor.
So after I found that out is when I started researching oil's and lubricants and found AMSOIL. I looked over the literature on the Company and the products that they manufactured. The more I read, the more impressed I became with the Company but I would not be totally convinced until I started using the products myself. My first purchase was an oil change for my 1996 Ford Taurus. I put in the 0w20 Signature Series, 1 year/25,000 miles, EA Oil Filter, transmission fluid, brake fluid, and power steering fluid. I was immediately impressed. Soon after that I became a Dealer because of the integrity of the AMSOIL Company and the quality they put into their products.
