AKLS is operated by Jarrett Alexander and Kako Kataoka. Jarrett & Kako met on TheBus in 2005 and were married several months later in 2006. AKLS, Alex-Kataoka Lube Services is a Kama'aina business dedicated to serving the local market and providing the best service and value available.

We started our Amsoil business because we realized that most people care about saving money and taking care of their vehicles as much as we do or more. That is saying a lot and usually paying too much too often. Becoming a T1 Certified Amsoil dealer offered the opportunity to help people save money, and help the environment while creating some extra income for ourselves and others by getting the word out about Amsoil's amazing products. Passing Amsoil T1 Certification requires proving extensive knowledge of various lubrication, filtration, grease, engine, transmission, gear, differential, two cycle, marine, motorcycle, wet-clutch, and additional technologies.

Jarrett has a background in Engineering Technology with a B.S.E.T. from Prairie View A&M University, Prairie View, TX. Kako has a background in childcare and as a certified nurse from Japan. We also graduated from Amsoil University and recently attended Amsoil's 35th Anniversary Convention in Superior, Wisconsin so we could make sure that we had the right tools & info to help our customers, our business partners, and ourselves make the best lubrication & economic choices. We came away from that experience with even greater confidence that we all are dealing with a company that will not let us down. We found out just how much Amsoil is committed to being the best. Amsoil simply & absolutely does not compromise quality and they never will. Who else do you know that compares their products to competitors by name, showing truly independent lab results? If the comparisons were not absolutely factual Amsoil would have been sued out of existence years ago. They put the evidence of superior protection where everyone can see it and no one can effectively dispute it.
